Steve Gammon, Principal

steve gammonSteve Gammon has been active in the construction industry for over twenty five years. As a Mississippi native, Steve graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology and a minor in Architectural Engineering. Steve has a vast knowledge of the construction industry. Having worked his way up from Assistant Superintendent at The Robinson & Morton Group to Senior level executive management at firms such as Capstone Building Corp. and Summit Contractors, Inc., Steve has built over a half billion dollars worth of quality construction projects. With his comprehensive knowledge of general contracting and construction management, he, along with two other principal partners, founded Regions Contractors, Inc. in 2003. Since that time, Steve has helped the company become a successful construction company by providing exceptional leadership and management in all areas of the profession.

 

Jason Roberts, Principal

jason robertsJason Roberts has been a leader in the construction industry for over 15 years.  Beginning as a carpenter from Arkansas, Jason has always been extremely involved in his work.  Jason began his career as carpenter and then opened a successful Framing Company at the age of 25.  During this time, Jason realized how much he enjoyed all aspects of the construction industry and began working as a Superintendent for Capstone Building Corp.  Utilizing his expertise in management and marketing, Jason was quickly recruited as Senior Project Manager for Summit Contractors, Inc.  It was at this time that he and Steve decided to create a partnership and opened Regions Contractors, Inc.  Jason’s uncanny ability to foresee a great opportunity when it is presented has contributed to the success and excellent reputation of Regions Contractors.  From project management and marketing to community outreach, Jason’s keen business sense is a value to Regions Contractors as well as the developers that he works with.

 

Chris Roberts, Principal

chris robertsChris Roberts has been a hands-on expert in the construction industry for nearly 15 years.  Chris began his career in construction as a foreman at Tufco Flooring and Mid-America Cabinets.  Chris’s hard work ethic lead him to pursue a degree in Construction Management at John Brown University.  With this knowledge, Chris became an Assistant Superintendent with Capstone Building Corp. and then, along with Steve and Jason, worked for Summit Contractors, Inc. as a Superintendent.  These experiences also lead Chris to Regions Contractors.  Chris is a leader in the field and has been looked to as a mentor for Superintendents and foremen across the industry.  Chris has always kept a strong focus on the safety of every project.  It is this, along with his hard work ethic, which has created so many exceptional construction projects throughout the years. 

 

Matt Gerrell, Controller

Matt GerrellMatt Gerrell joined the staff of Regions Contractors, Inc. in August 2010 as Controller and Office Manager. Matt is a graduate of Florida State University with degrees in both Accounting and Risk Management and Insurance. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida. Prior to joining Regions, he worked with a large CPA firm in Tallahassee for approximately 6 years. Matt's knowledge of all aspects of financial accounting and reporting will help ensure the fiscal soundness of Regions' construction projects.
